Cookie Policy
Last updated: 27 August 2026
In short: this website uses Google Analytics to count visitors and see which pages are read. These analytics cookies are only set if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. It can be used to remember your preferences or to recognise your device on later visits. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies; cookies set by another organisation are called third-party cookies.
Cookies on this website
This website (sade2027.netlify.app / sade.dk) uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — for example how many people visit, which pages they read, and which country they come from. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<id>, which are stored on your device for up to two years and are used to recognise returning visitors. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
These cookies are only set if you accept them. Until you do, Google Analytics runs with consent mode set to denied, which means no analytics cookies are placed and no measurement data is sent. If you decline, nothing is stored.
The forms on this site (registration, exhibitor sign-up, newsletter sign-up, contact form) submit your information directly to our hosting provider, Netlify, without setting tracking cookies in your browser.
Our hosting provider, Netlify, and our payment provider, Stripe, may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies needed to make the site and payment flow work securely (for example, to prevent fraud during checkout). These are considered strictly necessary and are exempt from consent requirements under the ePrivacy rules.
Stripe (payment pages)
When you choose to pay by card, you are redirected to a payment page hosted by Stripe. Stripe may set its own cookies on that page, under Stripe's own privacy and cookie policy. We do not control these cookies. You can read more in Stripe's privacy policy.
How to reject or delete cookies
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page and choosing “Decline”. This stops any further analytics data being collected. Already-stored cookies can be removed through your browser's settings — how you do this depends on which browser you use (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.). The same applies to any cookies set by Stripe's payment pages.
